Overview
The brief
The real business is P-plate-friendly, deposit-light rental, but its pricing lives on a separate page. The site had to feel premium and reassuring, help a driver find the right car by body style and use case, then hand off to the live pricing without inventing numbers.
An independent redesign of a real business, rebuilt from its public content. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the business. Original: WD11 (live site).
Approach
How I built it
Opened on a full-bleed cinematic hero on GSAP and Lenis, with a WebGL vehicle stage gated off so no 3D model is fetched until it is ready.
Built a fleet explorer that filters real cars by body style and use case, each card linking out to WD11's live cars-and-pricing page.
Wrote twelve calm sections - drive finder, trust strip, use cases, benefits, journeys, booking steps, pickup, vehicle care and FAQ - on one shared motion system.
Added a mobile-only sticky pricing CTA and fixed a mobile fleet-rail overflow with min-w-0 guards; the whole build honours reduced motion.

Build
Under the hood
- Build, type-check and lint clean (recorded)
- Verified at 1440 / 768 / 390 with reduced-motion; no horizontal overflow
Reflection
Looking back
Gating the 3D until it is genuinely ready kept the page fast while leaving room to grow. The fleet photography and any eligibility or pricing detail belong to WD11 and must be confirmed before this goes near a live domain.
